A little slow about riding the technological wave, but here we are finally - April 2nd 2010 - the Women's Center for Job Creation (WCFJC) Blog! Following the gentle but persistent nudging of a friend, we have taken the plunge and I will have the pleasure of keeping our readers up to date on what's going on with our projects in Uganda.
If you have no idea what WCFJC is, we are a 501 (c) 3 registered organization that seeks to increase rural women's economic empowerment and improve their standard of living. We are currently engaged in four initiatives in Jinja District, Uganda - dairy goat rearing, poultry rearing, beauty salons and a nursery/primary school.
